Documentary night

“Embrace” follows body image activist Taryn Brumfitt´s crusade as she travels the world to uncover the issue of body shaming. Today, so many of us are battling poor self esteem because of the flawless images our society feeds us with. We just need to lose some weight, reduce some wrinkles or fight that cellulite, all to reach this unachievable ideal.

This documentary is both sad, shocking, moving and funny and inspire us to change the way we feel about ourselves and think about our bodies. After the movie, we open for a discussion group, giving room for those who want to share their thoughts and stories. By speaking about it, we might learn to fully embrace and love our bodies (this applies to all men out there too).
